About Us  |  Partnerships

IPFA continues to build on the principle of partnership and cooperation within its international network of providers of plasma and plasma derivatives, all of which subscribe to the common principles of not-for-profit and voluntary non-remunerated donations. A focus on partnerships between IPFA and third parties is equally important.

Partnerships for IPFA can be defined as cooperative relationships with other stakeholders in the field of blood and plasma products. Over the years, IPFA has established such relationships with a variety of partners and in different ways, depending on the circumstances and the objectives to be achieved.

IPFA partners are :

  • Africa Society for Blood Transfusion (AfSBT)
  • Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI)
  • Blood Centers of America (BCA)
  • European Medicines Agency (EMA)
  • European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM) of Council of Europe
  • International Federation of Blood Donor Organizations (IFBDO-FIODS)
  • World Health Organisation (WHO)
  • World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH)
  • International Patients’ Organisation of Primary Immunodeficiencies (IPOPI)
