POSTPONEMENT – IPFA 5th Asia Workshop on Plasma Quality and Supply
Amsterdam, 26 February 2020
On behalf of the International Plasma and Fractionation Association (IPFA) and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society, we regret to inform you that due to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we had to take the decision to postpone the IPFA 5th Asia Workshop on Plasma Quality and Supply. The Workshop was originally scheduled to be held on Wednesday 25 – Thursday 26 March 2020 at Oakwood Hotel & Residence Sri Racha, Chonburi, Thailand. New dates for the meeting are currently being identified, depending on the further developments of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Having carefully observed the situation over the past period and having been in contact with various parties discussing the possibilities of continuing the event or postponing to a later date, we found that travel restrictions are in place for many people involved.
As soon as new dates for the meeting have been identified, we will update our website. Should you have any questions following this message, please do not hesitate to contact us.
With kind regards,
Dr Paul Strengers, Executive Director IPFA
Emeritus Professor Chaivej Nuchproyoon M.D., Assistant Secretary General, Acting Director of National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society
