IPFA 5th Asia Workshop on Plasma Quality and Supply

The International Plasma and Fractionation Association (IPFA) is pleased to announce the fifth IPFA Asia Workshop on Plasma Quality and Supply. The workshop will be held in Chonburi, Thailand on 25-26 March 2020 at Oakwood Hotel & Residence Sri Racha.

This meeting will build on the success of the meetings held in Taiwan in 2016, Indonesia in 2017, Malaysia in 2018 and Hanoi in 2019, which highlighted the importance of this topic for the region. These meetings attracted over 200 delegates from 30 countries.

In collaboration with and hosted by The Thai Red Cross Society, a comprehensive range of topics will be addressed including:

  • Donor recruitment and selection
  • Screening and diagnostic programmes for blood-borne pathogens
  • GMP and Quality management for plasma for fractionation
  • Regulatory issues
  • Plasma fractionation options
  • Clinical developments in the use of plasma derivatives
  • Product supply strategies to reduce dependency on imported products

This fifth meeting will build on IPFA’s traditions of open and inclusive discussions between all stakeholders who may have an interest in and/or responsibility for meeting the increasing need for plasma derivatives in the Asia Region.

We warmly invite you to attend this meeting and look forward to welcoming you to Thailand for this important event.
